Delete Account — American Sweets

This page explains how you can delete your customer account for American Sweets (operated by American Confectioners Ltd) when you use our website, iOS app, or Android app (together, the “Services”).

Delete from the app

If you use our mobile app:

Open the American Sweets app.
Go to Account or Profile.
Open Settings (or Account settings).
Choose Delete account (or Close account).
Follow the prompts and confirm. You may need to sign in again or enter your password.

If your app version does not show this option yet, you can request account deletion by email (see Need help? below).

Delete from the website

If you have an online account on our website:

Sign in to your account.
Open Account or My account.
Select Privacy & data or Security, then Delete account.
Confirm when asked.

If you cannot find the control, email us from the address on your account and ask to delete your account — we will verify your identity before processing.

What happens when you delete your account

Deleting your account removes your ability to sign in and typically removes or anonymises personal data tied to that account, including:

Your account credentials and profile (name, email, phone where stored for the account).
Saved delivery and billing addresses, wishlists or favourites, and in-app preferences.
Order history and messages visible in your account area, subject to the retention note below.
Marketing preferences linked to that account (you will stop receiving marketing to that profile where technically possible).

We may retain certain information where the law requires it — for example minimal records of completed purchases (amounts, items, dates) for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Where retained, we restrict use to those purposes and apply the retention approach described in our Privacy Policy.

After deletion

You may create a new account at any time using the app or website, unless we have restricted access for legal or security reasons. A new account will not restore data from a deleted account.
